Reminder Technology for Consumer Packaged Goods

In 2018, Tomorrow Lab developed a gorgeous, innovative bottle cap technology for use in the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry. With the first application focused on the skincare industry, the Smart Cap encourages users to stick to their skincare regimen through gentle, color-coded light messages built into the cap's rim. The LED illuminated caps are designed to be unobtrusive yet effective reminders. Using our proprietary Bluetooth firmware and low power circuit design, the cap also silently transmits usage data to a companion App on your mobile device. From there, it goes to the cloud. In this way, both user and the brand can benefit from insights behind a customer's usage patterns.

01 —Features

The cap offers several months of battery life under normal use (twice per day). It carries a water tight seal and a reliable open/close detection method. It provides beautifully diffused illumination on the top ring in a variety of colors and patterns.

Built with proprietary BLE connectivity and background App updating, the cap wirelessly syncs its usage data to a user’s mobile device whenever it is nearby. Download and install iOS and Android companion Apps to help monitor your usage and document progress at a glance.
