Packet
High-Volume Digital Storage Postcard
‘Packet’ is a network of low-cost, digital mass storage postcards meant to solve the problem of limited internet storage space and/or internet bandwidth when needing to transfer or access a large amount of data. The product thesis is based on the fact that physical storage needs will always outpace bandwidth capacity (Moore’s Law vs Nielsen’s Law). In order to maintain the long-term growth of the internet, Packet fills the need for a physical storage delivery network built on a set of low-cost reliable devices.
